Located on the grounds of the beautiful Ashford Castle, this experience was worth the drive (and walk). You get to hold a damn hawk. A Harris Hawk to be specific. The guides take you out on a “hawk walk” where you’re feathered friend will come and go from your glove to a nearby perch and back. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and kind. This was an amazing experience. (📷 by my wife)
